Body Contouring
Approach

How we work.

Patients who arrive at body contouring have already done the hardest work. Our role is to honour what they have built — by giving them a body that matches the discipline they have already shown.

  • Multi-stage planning over 12 — 18 months
  • Scar designed to vanish under clothing
  • Coordinated with bariatric team if relevant

Stylised illustration. Real patient imagery is shown in consultation only, with written consent.

Candidacy

Are you a candidate?

We tell you honestly at the first consultation. Final decisions are made after a cooling-off period of at least two weeks.

  • Stable weight 12 months post-loss
  • Nutrition optimised, protein adequate
  • Non-smoker, well-controlled medical conditions
  • Time and support for staged recovery
What to expect

Three stages. No surprises.

  1. 01

    Master plan

We map every area you want addressed and sequence them safely — typically two operations spaced six months apart.

  2. 02

    Each stage

    Inpatient stay of 1 — 2 nights, drains for 7 — 14 days, compression for 6 weeks.

  3. 03

    Long-term care

Scar care for 12 months. Touch-up procedures (rare) included in the original quotation.

Recovery

A timeline you can plan around.

Final, settled results appear at 9 — 12 months.

  1. 01

    Week 1

Inpatient and home rest. Walking only.

  2. 02

    Week 3

    Drains out. Office work resumes.

  3. 03

    Week 6

    Compression off. Light cardio.

  4. 04

    Month 3

    Strength training resumes.

  5. 05

    Month 12

    Scar matures. Final shape.

Risks

What you should know.

No operation is without risk. The list below is a summary — it is personalised to you at consultation.

  • Long scars (planned and well-hidden)
  • Wound healing risk in former smokers
  • Seroma — managed with drains
  • Need for staged revision
